Manchester United have secured their place in the Emirates FA Cup final after holding off a second-half fightback from Coventry City at Old Trafford. The 20-time winners took the lead in the 24th minute through Marcus Rashford, who netted his 15th goal of the season.

However, Coventry responded well and equalized just before the stroke of half-time through their captain, Luke McNally. The League One side continued to press in the second period and were rewarded when Jamie Allen put them ahead in the 65th minute.

United, who had made a number of changes to their lineup, showed their quality and determination in the final stages. Casemiro leveled the scores with a towering header in the 77th minute, and substitute Alejandro Garnacho completed the turnaround with a stunning strike six minutes later.

The victory means that United will now face Newcastle United in the final on May 27 at Wembley Stadium. It will be their 21st FA Cup final appearance, and they will be aiming to lift the trophy for the first time since 2016.
